About the Restaurant

What are your hours of operation?
- Currently we are closed Sundays & Mondays and open Tuesday-Thursday 11am-7pm, Friday 11am-8pm and Saturday 9am-7pm
  - What if I need an order for Sunday or Monday?
    - Ask us! Sometimes we can accommodate or we can pack it to refrigerate it overnight.
Are you open on Holidays?
- We are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving & Christmas. If you need a board for any of those, let us know and we can possibly make you a board for pick-up the day before and pack it to refrigerate overnight.
Do I need a reservation, or do you accept walk-ins?
- You can walk in but if you want to guarantee a table, you can reserve a table for contacting us. We strongly encourage groups of 6-12 to make a reservation. Groups of 13 should inquire about our “Semi-Private Space Rental” or “Exclusive Space Rental.”
Where are you located, and is there parking available?
- We are in the Greystone area of Hoover. Our address is 5426 Hwy 280, Suite 6, Hoover. We are in the same shopping center as Chuck’s Fish and GreyBar. We are near the Greystone YMCA, Jim-n-Nick’s BBQ and both the Tattersall Publix and Lee Branch Publix.
Is there outdoor seating?
- Yes, we have 2 tables.
Is Board In Birmingham kid-friendly or 21+ only?
- We are definitely kid-friendly, in fact we have “Charcuterie Board Coloring Sheets” and a kids’ menu!

Menu and Food

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
- Yes, yes & yes.
  - Don’t want meat? We’ll give you extra cheese!
  - Don’t want dairy? We carry 2 dairy-free cheeses!
  - Don’t want gluten? We have 2 options for gluten-free crackers!
    - We currently do not have a gluten-free bread for our sandwiches.
Can I customize a charcuterie board?
- You can make requests and if we can accommodate, we will! Don’t be afraid to ask!
Do you have “grab-n-go?”
- While we don’t necessarily have boards already made up, it takes us mere minutes to make one. Need it quickly, just call!
What kinds of cheeses and meats do you serve?
- Only the best! We have cheeses made with a variety of milks. Most of our charcuterie meat is pork-based but we do have some kosher options as well.
Do you have options for people with nut or dairy allergies?
- We do our best to carry nut-free products and prevent cross-contamination but if you have a severe allergy, please note that we CANNOT guarantee your wellness.
Are the boards available for takeout or delivery?
- Both! We deliver but we are also available on DoorDash, GrubHub & EZCater.
Can I just call and order?
- Yes, we will take your order, name, phone number and email address and send you a link to pay before pickup/delivery.
How soon do I have to place an order for pickup or delivery?
- We prefer a minimum notice of 3 hours but we reserve the right to deny any order or add on additional prep time. You can place an order as far as a year in advance!

Wine and Drinks

Do you have a full bar or just wine and beer?
- We only have our Wine & Beer License from ABC. We do have a mixed drink menu where all the creations are made with either wine or beer – some remakes are even better than the originals (like the French 280!)
Can I order a specific wine or beer that is not on your menu? Can I order anything in bulk?
- Yes! In fact, we offer discounts on bulk orders.
Can you recommend wine pairings with the boards?
- Yes! Just ask!
Do you offer wine flights or tastings?
- Check out our calendar for our wine tastings but at this time we do not offer flights.

Events and Specials

Do you host private events, parties, or corporate gatherings?
- Yes, we do! We can accommodate up to 45 in a reception format. We can accommodate up to 26 in a seated format (3 tables of 4 each, 2 tables of 2 each and 2 tables of 5 each.)
When can I host a private event?
- Our restaurant is available to rent from 7am-11pm on most Sundays & Mondays. For Tuesdays-Saturdays, please ask a manager.
How does that work? Can I book just the place? Do I have to have food & drinks?
- We have packages for every situation but it’s best to speak with a manager.
Do you offer catering for off-site events?
- Yes, we will travel up to 100 miles with a minimum order of $1,000.
Are there any happy hour specials or themed nights?
- Yes, we have a slew of fun times – some are one & done and some are yearly, monthly, weekly, etc. We keep the calendar online updated: boardbham.com/calendar but you should subscribe to our “News-feta” so you can be the first to know. Here are a few examples, though:
  - On Wednesdays We Wine – ½ price glasses of wine and appetizer specials. Every Wednesday from 3-7pm
  - Wine Oh Wine – a once-a-month class on wine. Typically, the 3rd Thursday of every month but exact dates and tickets can be found and purchased online.
  - First Course Fridays – anytime on Fridays come in for a glass of wine and a charcuterie cup for $19.95 each
